Program Information
The DeKalb County Workforce Housing Development Program is a voluntary program that provides density bonuses and other incentives for the development of workforce housing. A Workforce Housing Unit is defined as a household earning between 60% and 120% of the county’s median household income, as determined by the most recent census from the American Community Survey, is eligible to purchase or lease. The 2020 Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell, GA HUD Metro FMR Area includes DeKalb, and lists the median household annual income as $82,700.
