The PathLink Wayfinding Project is an endeavor by DeKalb County Planning and Sustainability to promote use of the Stone Mountain Trail by providing wayfinding signage and safety improvements in neighborhoods north of Memorial Drive. By seamlessly integrating the trail into the fabric of the neighborhoods north of Memorial Drive, the project seeks to enhance the identity of the community, improve health and wellness, and create a sense of place.

The purpose of this project is aligned with the County’s revitalization efforts along Memorial Drive and the Stone Mountain Trail CDAP through the Atlanta Regional Commission. As DeKalb County strives to revitalize Memorial Drive, the Stone Mountain Trail emerges as a central element in these efforts. By promoting increased trail usage, the project envisions a ripple effect of benefits that extend far beyond the immediate vicinity.
