What is not included in a Special Event Facility definition?
This definition will not include Temporary Outdoor Events, Places of Worship or Non-Profit Civic Associations.

The event center will not have an alcohol license. The servers hired shall possess registered alcohol permits, ensuring they are trained in responsible alcohol service.
What are the operating hours for Special Event Facilities?
The operating hours are 8:00 AM -12:30 AM.
Is there a process for facilities that need to stay open pass 12:30 AM?
Yes, any facility operating pass 12:30 AM will require a Special Land Use Permit (SLUP).
What is the policy on noise at the facility?
All Special Event Facilities must comply with the DeKalb County Noise Ordinance (Chapter 16).
