All Decatur Terrace community members are invited to share their thoughts on the Small Area Plan at a public meeting on Thursday, June 4, from 5:30-7:30 pm at the DeKalb County Government Service Center, 178 Sams Street, Decatur, GA 30030. Please allow time for building security.

Project Overview

DeKalb County has embarked on a Small Area Plan (SAP) for the Decatur Terrace area with the goals of:

  • Protecting the character, residents, and long-term stability of Decatur Terrace as change occurs;
  • Guiding new development to be compatible, predictable, and supportive of the surrounding neighborhood;
  • Addressing flooding, traffic calming, and pedestrian safety through targeted infrastructure improvements;
  • Identifying early actions and strategic investments to spark long-term neighborhood improvement.
